The upcoming Fringe North 2017 boasts a lineup of Sault Ste. Marie and out-of-town groups.
TicTacToc, featuring Denise Lacroix, Colette Chiarello, Whoknows Theatre, with Robert Cooper and Timothy Murphy, Wendy Hamilton and Sandra Forsell of Theatre in Motion, Loretta Durat and Sault Youth Theatre and alumni from Sault Theatre Workshop’s Stage One with Randi Mraud are Sault acts featured Aug. 10 to 20.
Visiting groups are Calgary’s HeARTbeat Theatre and The Secret of Castle Alphabet for children, Interlochen Academy’s Alazz Entertainment with Sault native Alexandria McCauley from Michigan and Remembering Aimee from Sudbury, a release says.
Performances will be held at several downtown venues including Sault Ste. Marie Museum, Canadian Bushplane Heritage Centre, Heritage Discovery Centre at Ermatinger-Clergue National Historic Site and Holiday Inn Express. The festival is based at Roberta Bondar Pavilion.
